Features never-before-recorded Konitz originals arranged by internationally recognized composer/saxophonist Ohad Talmor. This live recording at NY’s Jazz Standard, fueled by a band of tip-top improvisers from the Big Apple and Rio, captures the energy and spontaneity of the six-night club gig. Anticipated 2006 appearances at New York’s JVC Jazz Festival and the Chicago Jazz Fest as well as a high-profile celebration of Konitz’s eightieth followed by a national tour.
