Coverversion of Johnny Pate's "Shaft In Africa" classic which recently got sampled by Just Blaze for Jay-Z 's comeback single "Show Me What You Got" taken from his "Kingdom Come" album. Hypnotic Brass Ensemble is a 9-man funk band from Chicago who recently played NYC's Apollo with Mos Def and his Big Band at the James Brown tribute / Apollo benefit Concert. The remix comes courtesy of Bulljun, producer with Japan's mighty A.Y.B. Force, who with recommendation and praise from the legendary DJ Muro became one of the favourites of the young hip hop generation in Japan.
