Fools From The Streets is the debut album by the rapper Dru Down from East Oakland, California. The album was executively produced by Chris Hicks for the independent label C-Note Records in 1993.
The album was produced by Ant Banks, Gino Blackwell, Robin Duke, and K. Foster. It was re-released a year later under the name Explicit Game featuring the same album art and track listing in a different order. Fools From The Streets features guest appearance by fellow East Oakland rap duo Lunitunz aka Luniz (Yukmouth & Knumskull).
The single entitled “Pimp of the Year,” which samples “Seven Minutes of Funk” by The Whole Darn Family and “Shorty the Pimp” by Don Julian, made it to 65 on the Billboard Top 100.
