Lulu walks out of the screen. She gathers substance and voice, picks up the microphone and whispers her song in our ears.
Starting points: Frank Wedekind's play "Earth Spirit" (1895) and the film by Georg W. Pabst, "Lulu - Pandora's Box" (1928), which established the face-symbol of Louise Brooks. Next stop: the 1993 performances in Greece, where the silent movie and music-in-situ existed side by side.
It was these relationships of picture and sound, screen and stage, silence and music, past and present, myth and subversion that shaped the dialogues on this album.
