This live album from the Caymmi family (brothers Dori, Nana, and Danilo, and the patriarch Dorival) is an oasis in the ocean of musical banality which flooded the rich Brazilian music tradition. Dorival Caymmi is the real thing, and some of his biggest classics are present in this release, where he signs almost all compositions, with the exception of three. "Só Louco" (passionately sung by Nana), "Vatapá," "Jo?o Valent?o," "Nem Eu," "Marina," and several other jewels are performed with full conviction by the quartet, transpiring artistic sincerity through all pores.
