Ripley is a New York City-based, self-produced rock band fronted by Alice Ripley, star of such Broadway hits as "The Rocky Horror Show," "The Who's Tommy" and the cult classic, "Side Show." Ripley's sound features layers of soaring vocals/crunchy guitars, big fat drums and bass, and spastic keyboards. Their influences - XTC, Elvis Costello, the Beach Boys, the Beatles - include rock's classic eccentrics, but RIPLEY's sound has a decidedly 21st century ring.
