One of three Mozart collaborations with the Italian poet and librettist, Lorenzo da Ponte, Così fan tutte ('All women act that way') was first produced in Vienna in 1790. It is regarded by many as Mozart's greatest opera and is a brilliant ensemble piece for only six performers.
The excellent mono recording from 1954 has been digitally remastered at Abbey Road Studios for this reissue
