Kristine Yen Sa is a Vietnamese poet/singer-song writer currently "living out of [her] suitcase" while traveling around North America — primarily Toronto, Canada; New York, United States and California, United States — to perform live, record songs for her upcoming projects, and visit both friends and family. Since her debut in 2002, Kristine has released three full-length studio albums (I Never Knew, reBIRTH, and Hopeless Romantic), as well as AnimeToonz3, a Japanese-language anime remix project with DJ Jinnai and Jellybean Recordings.
Kristine Sa teams up with Asia’s finest producers and delivers the best songs of her career for her long awaited true sophomore album. 3+ Years in the making, “Hopeless Romantic” recounts Kristine’s life, loves, betrayals, heartbreak and hopes since the release of her landmark debut “I Never Knew”.
“Hopeless Romantic” features production by Japanese superstar producer Daisuke “Dais” Miyachi (Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA, Koda Kumi) and premier Asian-American producer Dave Liang (The Shanghai Restoration Project, Carl Thomas).
