Gamble Everything For Love is the first single to be taken from Ben Lee’s highly successful album Awake Is The New Sleep, which was released in February this year. It features the non-album track, Hard Drive, which Ben wrote for Evan Dando’s 2003 album, Baby I’m Bored and a cover of the Talking Heads classic, Life During Wartime, featuring Ian Ball of Gomez. Also included on the CD is the video for the album track, Catch My Disease, which features Har Mar Superstar and was playlisted at Radio 2 earlier in the year. Awake Is The New Sleep is Ben Lee’s definitive album to date and first for New West. It reunites him with producer Brad Wood (Liz Phair, Smashing Pumpkins) and was recorded in Brad’s home studio in Los Angeles.
