'Jungian Epiphanies' follows on from the 'Early Works' release by Italian musician Cesare Marilungo AKA Noosfera. It's an impressive follow-up too, benefitting from a seamless feel that sees the tentative experiments from its predecessor now replaced with fully formed instrumental pieces and songs. Marilungo's own vocals prove to be serviceable, offering a whisper on 'The Reason Why' above some maudlin skeletal acoustic guitar. Those hints of Yellow6-style echoed melancholia emerge once again on 'All That Time' and 'Cage (Reprise)' whereas the original version of 'Cage' is accompanied by a ghostly piano. Marilungo leaves his masterpiece till last in the shape of 'Concentrating On A Picture', a 12 minute epic of drone, feedback and reverb. In conclusion, fifty minutes of quality ambient/acoustic music from an artist who has obviously found his niche. Track Listing
